(CARR LANE, PILLING, WYRE BOROUGH)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC) NOTICE 2024
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Lancashire County Council considers it necessary or expedient by reason of works being executed on the following length of road that the prohibition should come into force without delay under Section 14(2)(a) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, which will temporarily prohibit traffic on the roads set out in this Notice.
1.
No person shall cause any class of traffic to proceed over that length of Carr Lane, Pilling from a point approximately 40 metres north of the property "Belmont" for approximately 15 metres in a northerly direction.

Nothing in this Notice shall apply to persons engaged in the carrying out of the works.
3.
The prohibition will be operative from 1120 hours on Wednesday 2nd October 2024 until 2359 hours on Friday 4th October 2024 or until completion of the works within this period.
4.
A diversion will be signed locally.
The temporary prohibition is necessary to allow immediate works to repair a water leak to be carried out by Network Plus on behalf of United Utilities.
