(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC) NOTICE 2024 (HORSE PARK LANE, PILLING, WYRE BOROUGH)

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Lancashire County Council considers it necessary or expedient by reason of works being executed on the following length of road that the prohibition should come into force without delay under Section 14(2)(a) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, which will temporarily prohibit traffic on the roads set out in this Notice.
1.No person shall cause any class of traffic to proceed over that length of Horse Park Lane, Pilling at the side of Peahall Cottage for approximately 10 metres in both a southerly and northerly direction.
2.Nothing in this Notice shall apply to persons engaged in the carrying out of the works.
3.The prohibition will be operative from 1125 hours on Sunday 27th October 2024 until 2359 hours on Thursday 31st October 2024 or until completion of the works within this period.
4.A diversion will be signed locally.
The temporary prohibition is necessary to allow immediate works to repair a water leak to be carried out by Network Plus on behalf of United Utilities.
